Dionysus visits Icarus son of the famous Daedalus designer of the artificial cow for Pasiphaë (wife of king Minos of Creta) who bore the Minotaurus. Daedalus also designed the labyrinth for this beast. father and son were held in custody so they couldn't betray the secrets. They escaped with the wings Daedalus had constructed, but Icarus flew too close to the sun, which melted the wax of his wings and feel to his death in the sea.
