Day 7 from Montgenevre to Torino

Through the mountains.
Leave the car-park and go left. You enter Italy. Follow the signs Torino Autostrada.
At the end of the descent the road splits.
You take the road towards Sestriere S 23. Stay on this road until the tangenziale (bypass) around The city. Follow the direction to Aosta.
Take exit (ucita) Regina Margerita. Stay on this 4 lane road for about 9 km. The road ends at a bridge (ponte Margarita). Cross the bridge and go straight on. You see a square with a Agip petrolstation,From her on you can follow the signs of the campground. ( Yellow signs: Villa Rey )
The campground is situated high above the town.

Leave the car-park and go left. You enter Italy. Follow the signs Torino Autostrada.

Take the middle road towards Torino Autostrada A 32 and join the motor way. Follow Torino and then tangenziale. After the second toll gate towards Aosta.
Take exit Regina Margerita. Stay on this 4 lane road for about 9 km. It ends at a bridge. (ponte Margarita) Cross the bridge and go straigt on. You see a square with a Agip petrol station. From her on you can follow the signs of the campground. ( Yellow signs Villa Rey )
The campground is situated high above the town.

Near the N 23
Pinerolo:
Beautifully situated between the hills. Old town centre.

Near the Motor way
Exilles: A little town with an extra ordinary fort

Susa:
A beautiful town with a medieval centre. The arco d'Augusto, amphitheater and an aqueduct dating from the Roman Times.
Near the cathedral you can find Porta Savoia. A Roman gate rebuild in the middle ages.
In the village on your left you can find a big car park. The right part of the park is aspecially ment for campers.

Avigliana
A little town with a medieval centre. Beautiful spot between two lakes.

Torino
If you arrive early you can visit the city in the afternoon.
It is worth visiting for more than one day.
