The nymph Io is another victim of Zeus's lust. When almost detected by the ever jealous Hera, Zeus changes Io into a heifer (hence the horns at Io's head) . Hera has Io guarded by Argos with the 100 eyes. But Zeus sends Hermes who deceives Argos and frees IO.
