Augusta Raurica
Achilles dish detail

In the beginning of the Trojan war not every warrior was inclined to participate. Achilles was hidden by his mother and dressed like a woman. The shrewd Odysseus brought him (her) presents: Typical objects for females but also armor. When Achilles showed interest in the armor more than the dresses the game was over. In this picture this part of the myth is shown. Left Achilles's mother Thetis; next Achilles in a dress and a shield; then Odysseus and a horn blower
