Temple of Olympic Zeus



The temple of Olympic Zeus originally had 104 columns. The remaining 15 give a good impression of this huge building, that was larger the the Parthenon on the Acropolis. The the capitals of the columns originally were Dorian but in 174 ad a Roman architect had this changed into Corinthian capitals. The sizes of the temple (h,w,l): 17,40,96 meter.
