Curia Julia



The Curia Julia (Julius' Curia) was ordered by Julius Caesar to replace the Curia Cornelia, which in it's turn had replaced Curia Hostillia (Hostillius' Curia). At the iden of March 44bc this building had not been finished yet. So instead of here the senate conveyed in the theatre of Pompeius. It was there that Ceasar was assassinated. In the Curia Julia is a small exebition, lets have a look
