Start of the remains of the aqueduct



The aqueduct in Segovia originally had a length of about 15 km,partly underground where needed. Also in the city itself the water was transported underground. A large part of the aqueduct there could not be retrieved in our days. What now is left are ca 950 m. making it the largest and most impressive aqueduct left from the Romans
