Prometheus animates a statue

Prometheus one of the Greek gods (Titan) who made a clay statue and gave it life and so created the first man. When he also brought the people fire he was punished by Zeus. He was chained in the Tartaros (the hell of the underworld) and every day an eagle picked out his liver. Much later the immortal Prometeus was liberated by Hercules.
